Terms and Conditions - please read before booking sessions.

1. Services Provided: I, the tutor, agree to provide tutoring services to the student at the agreed-upon location or virtually.

2. Schedule and Duration: Available tutoring sessions will be displayed in the booking calendar. The sessions are available to book via the student portal on a 1st come 1st served basis. Sessions must be booked via the student portal. Sessions need to be booked and payed for one month in advance in order to allow adequate preparation time. The location and duration of the session is shown during the booking process.

3. Fees and Payment: The rate for tutoring services is clearly displayed at time of booking. Payment is due monthly, in advance, on 1st of every month via bank transfer. Invoices will be sent via email. Non payment in advance will result in tutoring being cancelled. 

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling: Missed sessions will be charged at the regular rate. Either party may request to reschedule or cancel a session with at least 24-hour notice. Failure to give proper notice may result in a missed session fee. In case of unforeseen circumstances, efforts will be made to reschedule the session at a convenient time for both parties. Should the session be cancelled by the tutor or due to unforseen circumstances eg weather conditions, an alternative time will be offered or a refund.

5. Conduct and Expectations: The tutor agrees to conduct sessions professionally. The student agrees to come prepared, be attentive, and actively participate in the learning process. The student agrees to behave in a manner that promotes a positive learning environment for themselves and others. Poor, disruptive or aggressive behaviour or language will not be tolerated. 

6. Responsibilities: The tutor is responsible for providing relevant learning materials and guidance in the agreed-upon subject(s). The student is responsible for completing assigned tasks, homework, and communicating areas of difficulty.

7. Liability: While every effort will be made to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of the tutoring sessions, the tutor is not liable for the student's academic performance or outcomes. For practical yoga and face to face sessions, the students are responsible for their own health and safety. Whilst the tutor will guide and provide safety advice, the tutor is not liable for any injury or accident should it occur. The tutor is not responsible for the care of students in face to face sessions. Parents remain responsible for the behaviour and care of their children at all times during the sessions and should supervise their children as they see fit.

8. Termination: Either party reserves the right to terminate tutoring services with a minimum of 1 week written notice. Outstanding fees must be settled upon termination.

9. Confidentiality: All information shared during tutoring sessions will be kept confidential between the tutor and the student, unless otherwise required by law.

10. Agreement: Both parties agree to adhere to these terms and conditions, as outlined above, and acknowledge receipt of a copy of this agreement.
